When in Destin, a must stop for us is always Pompano Joes. This has been one of our favorite restaurants for as long as we have been coming to the Emerald Coast. Even with the increasing popularity, they are able to make the busy nights not to long of a wait. While you are eating you are able to enjoy an ocean view or even watch a sand volleyball game just off the deck. They have some of the best seafood in Destin, and even a variety of choices for you non seafood lovers. On the most crowded nights, you are able to enjoy a drink and overlook the water, thanks to their outside bar. Being just down the road from our home, we often take a break from the waves and walk down for lunch. If walking isn’t in your interest don’t worry! It is merely a couple minute golf cart ride away.
